Food for All Weekly Updates: Job & Youth Opportunities
Weekly Meetings on Hiatus
The MANYC Food for All Team is taking a break from our Tuesday weekly evening meetings for the next few weeks as we restructure our team. We would love to hear your feedback as we work through this process and learn how we can best support your organizations at this stage of the pandemic. We would appreciate you taking a few moments to respond to our survey here.
Employment Opportunities
Equity Advocates is looking to hire an organizer early next year and they would love someone who is deeply familiar with the local food justice community. Check out their job posting for more information.
CityParks Youth STEM Curriculum now available
CityParks Green Girls Empowered by ING environmental education curriculum is now available for free and public use. Originally launched earlier this year to a small group of educators, this free STEM-focused curriculum is available on our website here for use nationwide, thanks to the support of ING.
Adapted from its New York City focus, the curriculum has a broader, national emphasis on climate change and environmental stewardship through experiential learning in parks and other open spaces for middle-school youth. Educators and community organizers can use the curriculum for both after-school and summer programs.
To learn more about the curriculum, join us for two free virtual orientation sessions on December 17, 2021 from 3:30pm - 5:30pm ET or March 4, 2022 from 3:30pm - 5:30pm ET. Pre-registration for our orientation sessions is required so sign up now!
