Apply for Urban Greenscaping
Applications are now open for Urban Greenscaping, a program that provides free-of-charge green job training to young adults (ages 18–24) whose educational or financial status would otherwise be a barrier to entering the field. Students graduate from the program with OSHA certification, a forklift operator’s license, and three weeks of classroom and hands-on horticultural learning at BBG and partner sites.

Community Food Systems Mentorship Program
via the Wallace Center’s Food Systems Leadership Network
The goals of this program are to:
Build relationships of solidarity and support across the food movement,
Create a space for leaders with significant experience in community food systems to share their wisdom, knowledge, and expertise with others, and to
Strengthen the leadership capacity of food systems leaders
Who is this for: This opportunity is open to people working to advance more equitable food systems and working with community-based organizations, non-profits, fiscally sponsored orgs, and mission-driven businesses. Mentorship will be prioritized for applicants who identify as Black, Indigenous and/or people of color, and those who work with historically disinvested or excluded communities. Apply here by Jan. 28
